I have a B+Q router which I quite like-good plunge action, takes 1/2 inch bits, etc-only problem is the base doesn't take standard Trend accesories. So I have bought a Uni-base replacement base to replace the one on the router.
As you can see-the router base doesn't take standard size guide bushes, a pity as I have a small collection.

I removed the screws holding on the original plastic base and removed it. There is a plastic bit to fit to your router-this then centres the new base on your router.

There are lots of predrilled holes in the base-fit base over the guide bit and then spin it around until suitable holes are revealed. Only two holes lined up on mine so I had to drill the third out, using the original as a template.

All done and ready to rout! It only took five minutes to fit and now have two routers set up to save swapping bits! (lazy, I know)
