I have been eager to get my hands on one of these for a while!

Here are the contents of the box-assembly is quick and straightforward. The gauge unfolds and is ready to go. The flip stop slides onto the top of the bar and is tightened in position. There is an abrasive sticky-backed sheet supplied to affix to the front of the fence-this is to stop the workpiece moving in use. A stick-on tape measure is supplied-I chose not to put this on until I have used the gauge in anger for a while.

The outstanding feature of this mitre gauge is the large "tri-anglating" arm on the rear. This gives a lot of extra support to the fence, especially with longer workpieces.

The fence also includes a slide out extension arm, allowing repeat cuts out to a distance of 42 inches. The flip stop is very handy, with minimal side to side play. When not needed you can just flip it out the way.

The guide bar that runs in the mitre slot has three adjustment screws that can expand the bar to fit perfectly for your saw. These were simple to adjust, using an allen key from above. This ensures a snug and accurate fit.

The rear arm is marked with the angles and a button on the bottom is held in to select "standard" sizes (i.e. 45, 22 1/2, 90 degrees) You calibrate the gauge using a nut at the rear arm-once set all the presets were spot-on!
After setting up I knocked out a quick frame-using the flip stop it was a piece a cake to knock out a frame. The corners were tight and square-worth every penny!!!

I look forward to using this on a regular basis!

Unfortunately it is no longer available in the UK.
