Maple and Purpleheart

Chest of Drawers

This project is a chest of drawers for my bedroom (I have already built bedside cabinets in the same style). The cabinet is mainly made from veneered MDF with maple cappings and a solid Purpleheart top. The drawers are fitted on roller runners for smoothness (and ease of fitting!!!).

I finished this one off on the 2nd of November.

All the drawer fronts were cut from veneered 12mm mdf, keeping them in sequence so the grain runs continously down the front.
