| At this stage I am happy that I have the basic shape of
the chair in my head and the techniques used to make it have been
practised a little-time to break out the Black Walnut! There are some
little changes to be made-the arms slightly lower, seat an inch longer, a
curve changed here and there, but I am clearer on how its going to work. I
am really enjoying uses rasps and spoke shaves! Not looking forward to all
that sanding though...... (Incidentally, I have finished shaping only the left side of the chair-that's why it looks a bit weird) |
