| Turn the front legs on the lathe, removing most of the waste. Final shaping will be done once the chair is glued up. |

| Back legs are from a 4 inch wide blank-first step is to notch the back of the seat. |

| Notch out the waste on the table saw-width of the leg minus the depth of the rebate. | ![]() |
