Since boarding over the garage door I thought a move around of the machinery would be in order. And what a difference it has made! It seems as if I have twice as much room - result!
I have moved the jointer and planer to the far wall (what was the garage door) along with the 5 inch dust extraction for the planer. The metalwork lathe has moved to the East wall along with the bandsaw and the router table now lives at the end of the table saw. I considered building the router table into the side table of the tablesaw but don't think the fence will work. Another day.....
After a good clean up it feels huge! I was amazed at the difference! Take a look......
I still need to find a home for certain items but it feels a lot better. Need to make the mobile base to complete my hand tool storage and that will free up the long bench on the west wall.
