| Give all components a sanding to 320 grit, being extra careful not to sand through the veneer. |

| Then apply a coat of sanding sealer. |

| When dry sand smooth ready for spraying. |

| A respirator with the correct filter is
very important!!
I applied six coats of lacquer with my B+Q HVLP spraygun. It was a very straightforward process. |

| Set aside to dry-let's make the handle. |

| I played around with different shapes and decided to go for a butterfly shape. |

| I roughed out the shape on the bandsaw and then set to work with rasps, files and sandpaper. |

| Done! Now for some final assembly. |

| I have rubbed out the lacquer with 600 grit wet and dry paper. Just the handle to attach. |
